Abstract: The textbook is intended for Chinese students starting to learn Russian in their native or nonnative language environment, and is designed for the first year of study. The conceptual basis of the training manual can be conditionally differentiated into general and particular provisions. The general conceptual principles include: reliance on the rational-logical style of mastering the language, which was formed during the previous training; reliance on Confucian and Taoist ethical principles, which are based on analogies, traditions and rituals; orientation not only on productive, but also on receptive types of speech activity; the use of lateral profiling techniques to identify Chinese students as hemispheric visuals; reliance on the principle of visibility; the use of biculturalism strategies in the selection and didactic interpretation of text material. In turn, private conceptual provisions include: situational presentation of material; multiple use of the visual semiotic series; uniformity of building lessons; Mandatory translation of Russian vocabulary into Chinese; principle of analogy — reliance on grammatical patterns; permanent formation of grammar and communication skills; the principle of combining new and repeated (the imposition of new situations and vocabulary on the permanently repeated grammatical and syntactic basis of the Russian language). The most important private principles are: the principle of invariance of the lesson in combination with the possibility of variative implementations when submitting lexical and grammatical material and the principle of continuous embedding of cultural information into text material. It is imperative to implement a biculturalism strategy, which involves the use of bidirectional, focused on Chinese and Russian realities, present and past didactic material. In general, the proposed textbook concept for Chinese students contributes to the formation of their language competence, pragmatist and culturological thesaurus, as well as to the reduction of the facts of discourse degradation and the improvement of communication between citizens of Russia and China.
