Abstract: The paper solves the problem of developing a system of political education adequate to the current state of youth, which cannot be represented as a whole group and managed object, is a set of heterogeneous mobile communities with their specific features, capable of independent politicization. Propose of search – development of contours of differentiated strategy of political education of youth of Russia on the basis of its multiple political strategies and formats of politicization. The development is based on the analysis of data on thematic resources of the Internet and social networks, essays of students and pupils of schools (n=21) on the problem of self-determination in politics, interviews with elements of cases (n=10) in 2019 and (n=17) in 2017-2018; testing of diagnostic methods “Determining the type of political strategy of youth”; methods of expert assessments and brainstorming with elements of foresight. As a result, a typology of political strategies of youth is proposed, including 10 types, for each of which recommendations are formulated, as well as General strategic priorities, key principles, relevant methods of work, risks in a politically differentiated youth environment. It is established that it is necessary to implement IT technology, to act including outside of educational institutions, to choose the forms and methods and content of training in accordance with the strategic orientation of young people. The scientific novelty is due to the targeted approach to the formation of the strategy of political education. The received recommendations form the basis for building an adequate system of work with the political aspects of youth life, taking into account its peculiarities, institutional and noninstitutional politicization, modern contexts (digitalization, mobility, etc.).
