Abstract: The restructuring of the content and activity component of the educational process in modern social conditions requires additional understanding of the essence of the activity, competency-based approaches and projecting them into the conditions of remote interaction of participants in the educational process. In the context of the foregoing, the problem of the presented study is associated with the development of a methodology for designing teaching and learning methods for students of pedagogical specialties (pedagogical university) in the context of distance education. The purpose of the described research: to develop a variant of filling content-activity components of the methodology for designing teaching methods and teaching students of pedagogical specialties in the conditions of distance education and highlight its features. Based on the analysis and comparison of literary sources, normative documents, expert materials, generalization of research results, as well as structural modeling, the option of filling the content-activity components of the methodology of designing teaching methods and teaching students of pedagogical specialties in distance education is proposed. The theoretical significance of the results lies in highlighting the methodology of designing methods, and the practical significance is in developing an indicative base for constructing a methodology for designing teaching methods and teaching students of pedagogical specialties in the context of distance education. As a conclusion, the components are indicated that affect the variability of the components of the methodology for designing teaching and learning methods.
