Abstract: The problems of patriotic education of the people, including children and young people, have always been extremely relevant. At the present stage of development of the Russian Federation, these problems have become extremely relevant, which makes it necessary not only to further develop a strategy of patriotic education, but also to search for modern directions and ways of their implementation. One of the ways of patriotic education of the population is promotion of interest in history, modernity, culture, music, and the Russian army. As for the military musical culture, the way of introduction to it is the concert activity of military bands promoting the values of the Russian mentality, ideals and goals of the Russian army. A parade-concert is a certain kind of such activity, which is carried out not in closed premises, but in city squares, stadiums, or parks. That is why such outdoor concerts attract attention of a huge number of spectators and listeners. For good performance at such concerts it is important to constantly improve the skills of military band musicians, thus developing specific methods of their learning process. The purpose of this article is to consider the most effective pedagogical approaches to the implementation of these methods, the definition of stages, the main tasks and methods available in each of them. The main idea of this article is that is is important to develop creativity of military musicians at each stage of training. The article presents methodological recommendations on the training of military orchestra musicians, created by the authors of various military educational institutions; it draws conclusions about the effectiveness of their use; it defines the basic skills necessary for the implementation of projects of outdoor concerts, developed in the joint creative search of musicians and conductors. The article is intended for conductors of military orchestras for organization of the process of training of musicians of military orchestra.
