Abstract: This article discusses theoretical issues of myth essence, mythology, a mythological world model in the context of both human spiritual culture and a particular person. Multifaceted potential of a mythological world model in spiritual and creative education is grounded, and the role of Urals peoples’ ancient myths in this process. Manifestations of mythological world model in different folklore genres, decorative and applied arts and professional art are studied. Methodological recommendations are given to teachers on integral spiritual and creative junior schoolchildren education on the mythology and mythocentric artworks material.
