Abstract: The problem of rhythm and plastique development is viewed from the point of socio-cultural approach, in the complex of educational tasks to socialize and harmonize a person. The notion of the concept «rhythm and plastique development» is given, its main features are identified with regard to peculiarities of pre-school children and their parents. Stages of rhythm and plastique development of children and parents are presented in the program «Dance with your mother» for groups in the School for Arts.
