Child’s Scientific Picture of the World: Formation by Means of Mathematics Education

Abstract: The article describes the potential of mathematics education in the process of formation of the natural scientific picture of the world in childhood and discloses the peculiarities of children‘s acquisition of such significant notions as ―space‖, ―time‖ and ―form‖.
