Correlation of the Paradigms of Assistance and Support in Theory and Practice of Pedagogy

Abstract: The meaning of pedagogical notions of ―assistance‖ and ―support‖ is disclosed; on the basis of the analysis of contemporary psychological and pedagogical research works on the problem studied, correlation and interdependence of these notions is revealed. The possibilities of the paradigm of support in the process of development of the subject‘s qualities, attitudes of a preschooler are discussed.
