Abstract: The article discloses the concept of "training students in methods of teaching at a pedagogical higher school", presents a model of the organizational structure of the system of training future teachers in methods of teaching on the basis of a modular technology and reveals problems in the implementation process and the formation of professional teaching competencies of students.
