Abstract: The article presents a retrospective analysis of generally accepted conceptual documents, which reveal the most important theoretical principles of children upbringing and education in the preschool period. The system of methodological approaches based on the analysis of the principles defines the features of interaction of subjects of education of infants and young children, and the structure and content of the process.
