Abstract: Virtual environment becomes an immanent feature of the structure of life in modern sociocultural space, making escalating impact on the consciousness and behavior of people. It especially concerns children and teenagers for whom computer games become a more and more attractive occupation immersing them in the world of virtual reality. The article reveals the inconsistent impact of virtual games on the formation of the personal identity of children and teenagers.
