Abstract: The article describes the structure of ecologo-valeological competence and the substantial lines along which this competence is realized (the person – a part of the nature; the person and the nature – object of knowledge; the person – the subject of educational process). The article argues that for successful development of ecologo-valeological competence it is necessary to use design and research activity of pupils that corresponds to modern FSES requirements. The author presents the main components of the technique of development of ecologo-valeological competence in the process of training of students in natural sciences.
