Transformation of Relations with Father in Adolescence Mastering the Position of a Parent as a Trajectory of Age and Psychological Development in Adulthood

Abstract: The article discusses the importance of the period of entry into parenthood in the development of an adult. Entry into parenthood is opened by the most important event in human life - birth of a child, and begins from the moment when an adult takes on the task of self-determination in the new conditions. The analysis of the content of changes occurring at this time is conducted from the perspective of the cultural-historical approach of Vygotsky. The development of the social position of the parent is presented as a special social situation of development, in which the parent scope of activities is of particular developing potential. Formation of the emotional position of a parent as a conscious person receiving the functions of parenthood prescribed by the social position and the special situation of a mediator, organizer and assistant in the childe-parent relations opens a way to transform the structure of personality and self-awareness of an adult. The discussed trinity of the mastered social situation (the situation of becoming), activity (has taken on developing the potential of the subject in the new position), and new properties deeply transforming the human being who became a parent, allows talking about the belonging of the phenomenon under study to age and psychological development.
