Abstract: The article is devoted to the theoretical foundations of environmental pedagogy and environmental education at philosophical, methodological, General scientific and specifically-scientific levels, which allows for a more precise definition of the categories, concepts and terms. Development of ideas is manifested in the extension of the range of problems solvable by the scientific school. In accordance with the defined research position of environmental pedagogy is defined as the branch of pedagogical science that studies the patterns of formation of healthy personality, characterized by environmental education, ecological Outlook, ecological consciousness, ecological thinking, ecological mindset and ecological culture. Scientific school of is scientific-methodical center of development of researches on environmental pedagogy, which organizes annual scientific-practical conferences, seminars, round tables with participation of leading scientists of Russia, CIS and far abroad. Develops resource support for the training of masters. The School's results used to improve the level of theoretical and practical training of practicing teachers and young scientists on the development and application of health-saving technologies in the educational process in order to implement one of the directions of the national project “Our new school” – the strengthening and preservation of health of all participants of educational process.
