Final School Examination: Return to Traditional Forms of Reception. Unified State Examinations Elements as Addition

Abstract: Experience of carrying out school final examinations in the form of Unified State Examination from positions of its comparison with advantages and shortcomings of a traditional (Soviet) form of carrying out such examinations is analyzed. Advantages and shortcomings of carrying out examination in the form of Unified State Examination are described. Are distinguished from advantages: equal conditions of receipt in higher education institution of graduates of different regions; helps to avoid an arbitrariness at arrival of school students in higher education institution; combination of entrance and final examinations. Shortcomings: 1) Unified State Examination as the "western" examination doesn't approach features of the Russian culture of behavior; 2) it is entered artificially into an education system unprepared for this purpose and it isn't checked by time; 3) the content of examination demands changes. A number of standard legal changes in carrying out in the future of final school examinations with application of tasks of creative character is offered, having excluded their most test parts.
1. It is necessary to add to tasks oral parts on humanitarian disciplines that will allow to check at the pupil: knowledge of a subject, logical thinking, knowledge of interdisciplinary communications, the general erudition and literacy, ability to formulate and state thoughts, ability to creativity, ability to find way out of extreme situations, expression of the opinion supported with examples.
2. To consider the pupil's portfolio for years of his school training at receipt in higher education institution that will be powerful incentive of its participation in scientific conferences, the Olympic Games, creative competitions, etc.
3. It is necessary to drive these innovations gradually, within several years, having made experiment in graduation classes of schools of the cities and rural settlements of different regions. By its results in due time and precisely to bring organizational measures for procedures of carrying out final school exam.
