Abstract: The article acquaints the reader with basic modern scientific areas (cognitive, linguo-cultural, axiological, man centered and psycholinguistic) of research of the dialectal linguistic worldview (DLW) as a form of implementation of the general linguistic worldview (on the material of the Urals dialects). DLW is studied in synchronic and diachronic aspects, which gives the opportunity to identify locally limited stereotypes of perception of the world and determine the causes of local variation of the DLW. The linguo-cognitive study of the DLW reveals regional features of linguistic means of conceptualizing and concretizing the denotation space and defines the linguistic and extra-linguistic factors influencing their characteristics. The scientific school studies the peculiarities of perception of the environment by native speakers of dialectal forms of the national language: 1) visual-figurative reflection, 2) concrete nature of vision of the world, 3) perceptivesensual type of cognition, etc. The use of modern achievements of the linguo-cultural trend of study of the DLW allowed one to reveal the peculiarities of the nomination processes in different dialectal macro- and micro-systems of specific areas of functioning of language. A special place is occupied by linguo-country-study, as the linguistic environment that surrounds us contains a wealth of material that helps to study the region, its culture through the facts of the language, so linguo-country-study may be considered to be a part of the culture of the people. Dialectal linguistic material analyzed in the framework of the axiological trend using the codes of culture opens the potential of dialect vocabulary as a source of cultural information and ways of storing it in the language. The psycholinguistic direction in the study of DLW gives an opportunity to explore the linguistic consciousness of sub-social groups and individuals, which is important in identifying parameters and national type of Russian mentality through its dialectal expression.
