Perfection of Individual-Personal Qualities of Cadets of Higher Education Institutions of Emercom Of Russia During Practice at Basic Training and Rescue Centers

Abstract: The article deals with the problem of professional development of cadets and its relationship with improvement of their individual-personal qualities at training and rescue centers of EMERCOM of Russia during practice by using a training algorithm, specially developed by the author. The article considers the order of practical exercises at the base training and rescue centers of Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in which each cadet of the given year of study takes a course of training in a managerial position. The article also dwells on the relationship the theoretically studied material in professional disciplines with practical lessons. The author describes various types of professional activities of all participants in extinguishing fire (chief of the guard, head of rescue team, fire squad leader, firefighter on entry control point, smoke diver, fire-fighters and rescuers, etc.) which cadets perform at training and rescue centers. The article contains a questionnaire assessing skills, knowledge and abilities that characterizes the professional competence of young specialists in the field of firefighting. As a result of the undertaken study the author comes to the conclusion about the effectiveness of practical lessons conducted at training and rescue centers of EMERCOM of Russia and their influence on the level of individual-personal qualities of cadets.
