Methods of Training Arts Teachers in Organization of Volunteer Activities of Schoolchildren

Abstract: The article deals with methodological issues of training arts teachers in organization of volunteer activities of schoolchildren and specifies the concept of preparation of the teacher for this kind of activity and it’s structure, including motivational, orientation, operational and person-reflective components. These components include personal qualities, abilities and knowledge, necessary for a person for the realization of this activity. The article describes the aim and tasks and the conceptual basis of the technique of formation of preparation. It substantiates the block-modular type of technique, its structure, including information, training and practical modules, which may vary in order of introduction in educational process and include thematic sub-blocks and their structural components. Within each module, the author describes methods and forms of education, authored tasks for independent and practical work aimed at control of learning results and development of components of such preparation. The article describes possible practical application of the above techniques to work with students of pedagogical profiles "Cultural Studies", "Music Education", "Design and Computer Graphics", "Screen Arts," as well as their experience of volunteering in Sverdlovsk State Academic Philharmonic, the Sverdlovsk Regional Museum and other cultural institutions of the city of Ekaterinburg.
