Techniques of Development of Emotional-Volitional Self-Controle in Junior Schoolchildren in the Process of Vocal-Choral Activities

Abstract: The article sets out the basic objectives and techniques of development of emotional-volitional self-control. For each stage (preparatory, primary, basic), the author prescribes teaching methods, forms of organization of vocal and choral activity of younger schoolchildren, kinds of creative learning activities, exercises to develop vocal and choral skills, emotional responsiveness, as well as the emotional condition of emancipation. The main techniques of the presented method are games, such as "Association Game", "Role Play", "Choral Theatre", and «Choral Performance." The article contains the algorithm of actions forming emotional-volitional self-control through the basis of personal awareness by the child of his creative activity. The algorithm includes: realization of the learning goal as a result of his own creative activity, ability to feel the way his voice will sound by comparing it with the sound ideal in his imagination in the temporal space, performance using auditory self-monitoring and correction, if necessary, of performing actions and emotional states, self-analysis of results, decision on the use of the required performing actions and conscious emotions to improve the quality of the creative product.
