Teacher's Report on Realization of an Academic Discipline in the System of Quality Management of Professional Education

Abstract: The modern stage of development of higher education in Russia involves the introduction of new methods and forms of defining and assessing students’ education results. The teacher’s report on realization of an academic discipline is an important component of the quality management system of professional education. The article discusses the form of the teacher's report on realization of an academic discipline. The main methods of research are pedagogical experiment and analysis of the teachers’ records of individual modules. The teacher’s report on realization of an academic discipline describes not only the manner in which the learning results have been achieved, but also how the system of assessment was "integrated" in the educational process and in the quality management system of professional education. The teacher’s report on realization of an academic discipline is aimed at improving the system of students’ educational achievements assessment and can be used for testing the working programs of disciplines of basic educational programs. The teacher’s report on realization of an academic discipline will not only help in the analysis of students’ education results, but also in the analysis of teacher’s activity results, in correcting the content of working curricula of disciplines, teaching materials and assessment tools.
