Assessment of Educational Services of Department of Dentistry of Further Education by Dentists as a Stimulating Factor for Higher Effectiveness of Medical Treatment

Abstract: The article analyzes the role of public and professional evaluation of the activity of the Department of Dentistry of Further Education as a condition for improving the educational process and optimal implementation of competence approach in a medical higher school. The authors regard various ways of assessing the quality of the educational activities of the Department of Postgraduate Education (based on advanced training of dentists). The article suggests various ways of realization of the socio-professional assessment in practical activity, correlated with the overall objectives of modernization of the Russian education and providing a possibility to better evaluate the quality of educational services: quality of pedagogical work and qualifications of each individual teacher; interrelations of dentists in the study group, attitude to each other, inner psychological climate that stimulates creativity and better assimilation of educational material; presence of an individual educational route of each trainee-dentist. The article also analyzes the changes in the requirements to the activity of the department which are related to many factors, such as the introduction of information and innovative technologies in the educational process of higher education to create next-generation products and expanding the range of extra educational services.
