Methods of Formation and Qualitative Models of Psychological Formation of Stress Resistance Determinants

Abstract: The article discusses the questions of forming stress resistance as an important professional quality among the cadets of EMERCOM at the training stage of higher education system. The authors describe research techniques directed at diagnostics of professional suitability factors (such as risk liability, internal locus of control, and stress resistance) and results of the conducted researches. The article also considers the method of building a qualitative model of a future EMERCOM employee, based on correlated characteristics of stress resistance level. The authors show an ideal, accepted and critical model of psychological formation of stress resistance determinants. Concrete examples demonstrate the application of the qualitative model of the EMERCOM cadet for competence measurement and development of individual professional stress resistance properties. The quantitative measurements show the need for psychological and pedagogical support. The authors also describe the main approaches to the formation of stress resistance determinants among the cadets of EMERCOM, and give recommendations for psychological and pedagogical support of the education process based on comparison of individual models. The article also argues the necessity of a complex approach to creating conditions for psychological and pedagogical support and the role of motivation in the process of training of the future EMERCOM employees.
