Psychological Support of Children with Special Educational Needs in Adaptive Physical Training and Sports

Abstract: The article deals with the meaning and content of the process of psychological support of children with special educational needs in educational institutions at lessons of adaptive physical training and in the system of additional education – in organization of activities in the field of adaptive sports. It describes the role of physical training in the process of formation of life competences of children and in the development of skills of healthy lifestyle in accordance with the modern Federal State Educational Standards. The authors analyze the main specific features of children with special educational needs which should be considered in the course of adaptive physical training and going in for sports. It stresses the importance of psychological education of specialists in adaptive physical training and sports. As a result of their study, the authors formulate the main provisions of the psychological code of professional activity of such specialists.
