Development and Correction of Emotional Sphere of Preschool Children by Means of Multimodal Art Technology

Abstract: This article is devoted to the emotional development of preschool children. The article provides detailed statistical data on health and peculiarities of psycho-social development of preschool children, analyzes general features of the emotional sphere of children with various emotional disorders and substantiates the necessity of their correction. The author emphasizes that inadequate forms of negative emotional response and negative strategies of interaction with adults and peers formed in the preschool age do not disappear with age, but get transformed and aggravated. The article describes the directions of development of emotional intelligence and initial communicative competence of preschool children by means of multimodal art technologies. Multimodal art technologies focus on the internal health potential inherent in each child and include visual, music, drama and dance motor and narrative art technologies. In conclusion, the author reveals the specificity of impact of different types of multimodal art technologies on the emotional sphere of preschool children.
