Abstract: The urgency of the chosen topic is defined by the global ecological crisis demanding rethinking of the fundamental problems of life of society and its interaction with nature and individual and of essential transformation of ethnic consciousness. The article deals with the essence of socio-natural consciousness in the context of the world view system of the Kyrgyz ethnos. Two logico-dialectical aspects of interaction between man and the surrounding nature have been clearly formed in philosophical thinking: on the one hand, man is treated as an inseparable part of the quickly changing habitat; on the other hand, man himself is represented as a factor of socio-natural evolution creating new mechanisms and technologies and thus actively influencing the surrounding world. One of the basic ideas of philosophy of socionatural consciousness is the unity of the planet Earth and humanity. This idea is reflected in the socionatural consciousness of the Kyrgyz ethnos, which represents a complex of world outlook goals, everyday life orientations to possess objects and be involved in natural events expresses sense and rational cognition or perception of the real world not only by intellect and thinking, but also by taking it into one’s heart in the result of personal insight. The socio-natural consciousness of the Kyrgyz people reflects the moral-spiritual and socio-ecological aspect of world outlook, world view, world relation and the desire to include man in active harmonious interaction with the environment in accordance with natural laws and nature’s rhythms.
Key words: Socio-natural consciousness; anthropocosmic theory; anthropocentricism; evolution; ecohumanism.
