Abstract: The article deals with the concept as a learning object of Russian as a foreign language on the basis of integration of natural-science and humanitarian education. The aim of studying the concept as a methodological foundation of learning vocabulary by foreign students is based on invariability and variability of the concept as an education unit. The work with the concept in the framework of project laboratories – studies – allows the students to master not only lexical units of the Russian language but also the contextual meanings of words. The cognitions of foreign students about the worldview may be subject to variation in accordance with the level of presentation of vocabulary. Aim setting and content design of a course of Russian for foreign students are structurally substantiated by the system of basic notions of a given subject field and are oriented towards the formation of a specific scientific worldview. Teaching in the framework of conceptual analysis has a task-driven character. The structure of learning Russian on the basis of the system of concepts makes it possible to represent the content of various disciplines and the personal pupils’ experience in an integrated manner. The concept methodology as a learning object on the example of the concept of “nature” and the methods of concept analysis of a learning text oriented towards the formation of the conceptual worldview of the pupils may be used in the practical activity of the teacher of Russian as a foreign language.
