Experience of Cooperation Between Ural State Mining University and the Universities of China in Scientific, Educational and Cultural Spheres

Abstract: This paper examines the Russian-Chinese partnership in the field of science, culture and education on the example of the Ural State Mining University. In recent years, there has been a tendency to increase the proportion of Chinese students studying in universities of Ekaterinburg, to realize academic exchange programs and scientific contacts. In this regard, the paper describes the experience of cooperation between the two countries and presents plans for its further development. The paper gives a detailed description of the measures for the integration of Chinese students in Russian higher education as well as student exchanges, highlights the most promising areas of cooperation between Chinese partners and USMU programs. A special place in the paper is given to the relevance of extracurricular activities with students from China to create conditions for the most effective adaptation in Russia. It should be noted that the Chinese partners carry out efficient work in moral and aesthetic education of their students sent to study in Russia, as well as provide a high level of training to prepare students for the life in Russia and the Russian language training. Interaction between Chinese and Russian universities has good prospects for the future, not only in education but also in the field of joint scientific research and social youth projects.
