Specificity of Development of Learning Motivation at Lessons of Russian as a Foreign Language of Military Men of Engineering Specialties

Abstract: The article analyzes principal peculiarities of learning Russian as a foreign language by military men of engineering specialties. The author describes the principles and methods of formation of learning motivation through a system of actions. The article notes the need to orient the teacher towards active forms of teaching for raising creative activity and interest of foreign military men and formation of the professional competence. The author stresses the necessity to form in foreign military men of the whole structure of activity and creative individuality capable of self-development and self-organization. The article describes the principle of selecting didactic materials taking into account the peculiarities of professionally oriented learning. The active methods of teaching presented by the author facilitate the formation of communicative competence in practical professional activity. The materials provided by the author could help systematical involvement of students in active cognitive activity. Consideration of specificity of methods and provided materials allows meeting the requirements of professionally-oriented training of foreign military specialists in the process of their learning Russian and facilitates the formation of their communicative and professional competences.
