Social Partnership as a Factor of Raising Quality of Professional Teacher Training (By the Example of Training Future Geography Teachers)

Abstract: The article actualized problems connected with professional future teacher training on the example of training geography teachers within a particular region – Trans-Baikal territory. The article contains analysis of views of researchers on the issue of quality of education, and highlights the most important elements of the phenomenon under study. The authors attempt to trace in detail the chronological way of formation of social partnership as a factor of improving the quality of professional-pedagogical training on the example of preparation of future teachers of geography, using elements of comparison with the experience of foreign countries. The authors defend the idea of social partnership in education, which can solve many problems in this socially significant sphere, and favor the creation of a new model of functioning of organizations engaged in professional training. Analysis of studies devoted to the problem of realization of social partnership in professional education, allows the authors to identify its main forms. The work of the Department of Geography of the Trans-Baikal State University is presented as an example of effective social partnership with organizations of different levels for the complex decision of problems of training pedagogical staff. As a result of their study the authors come to the conclusion about professional teacher education as an important subsystem of the social sphere which is at the center of social demands and expectations.
