Abstract: The article discusses the problem of designing integration of information and didactic resources in the education process of military higher educational institutions. The urgency of the study is substantiated by the fact that electronic libraries and thematic catalogs of electronic resources are being created at military schools, and attempts are made to form a unified interdepartmental information space in the form of a unified information environment. The author considers the conditions of formation of professional competence of cadets (course participants) in the process of teaching the humanities on the basis of designing integration of information resources. The paper provides a description of a future experimental study of integration of information and didactic resources in the education process. It also reveals the mechanisms and means of implementation of designing integration at the level of intra-subject and at the level of interdisciplinary ties between the components of the education process at a military educational institution. The article contains examples of integration of resources in the education process, and describes experimental work aimed at substantiating effectiveness of integration of resources. The article also provides definitions of scientific notions and concepts, gives the description of analyzed and systematized sources on the issue of integration of resources. The author outlines possible applications of results of the scientific research and the advantages of designing integration of information and didactic resources in comparison with the classical approaches to the improvement of the education process of a military educational institution.
