Abstract: The article discusses the tendencies of the modern society in the sphere of professional development of women to consider the depth of the problem of reaching her goals and embracing the opportunities. The authors made an attempt to study the level of professional satisfaction of women, their desire of self-development, as well as to reveal the leading motivational tendencies and types of behavioral activity of women. The authors analyzed the results of research and set the goal to study new aspects of interaction of a modern woman and society. Based on the obtained results the main strategies of personal and professional development of women were singled out; the necessity of the more detailed study of the processes of professional development of women and the topicality of this research were proved. The importance of the analysis of the strategies of adaptation that influence professional growth, development and perfection in the course of self-realization of a woman for the society, and the necessity of working out new approaches to solve the problems that arise here were shown. The results of this research may be used for the study of the modern processes in the labour market concerning women, and for the preparation of methods helping women to embrace to opportunities.
