Abstract: The article describes the issues of the implementation of the project supported by the International Grant Competition «Orthodox Initiative». The name the project is «Network Cooperation between Secular and Religious Organizations in Training Teachers, Specializing in Prevention of Alcohol and Nicotine Addiction among Risk Groups of Adolescents». The purpose of the article is to disclose the content of the activities on the development and implementation of the project of training courses for the students and teachers of the USPU, the teachers involved in sobriety education for adolescents. The concept of the project «Sobriety Education of Teenagers in the Context of Interaction between Secular and Religious Organizations» is based on the ideas of the Russian philosophers about the concept of «sobriety» as the most important value of the Orthodox consciousness. The following results were achieved: the authors describe the parts of the advanced training courses program and the organizational activities for the courses held in three stages, each stage has its tasks, forms and methods of implementation. The results of the work may be useful for the theory and methodology of training and upbringing (general education). The conclusions are: the results of the practical implementation of the developed advanced training programs in the frameworks of the grant project have led to the generalization of the theory and practice of sobriety education for adolescents and creation of methodical support of educational work in this area.
