The Role the Cultural Space of a School in the Formation and Development of Tolerant Consciousness of Pupils

Abstract: This article discusses the features of formation of tolerance of students in the frameworks of the implementation of the Federal State Educational Standard through the creation of cultural-educational space of school. Main stages of tolerance formation are discusses, as well as various forms and activities of a teacher which should be implemented according to the basic principles of the educational standard. The paper presents some abstracts from the author's program on tolerance formation with regard to the means and forms of activities and focus on the formation of skills of tolerant interaction. The author of the article suggests that education is a purposeful method for the acquisition of culture. It is a condition of establishing relations of collaboration and co-creation in the process of development of cultural-educational space of a school, which includes the use of new technologies and methods of teaching. Formation of culture of a child’s personality is assured by creation of cultural and educational space of a school, which conforms with the goals of the Federal State Educational Standard.
