Abstract: The development of musicality is both a priority in the music education of primary school pupils, and the aim of this paper. The subject of the study is playing block flute by junior pupils in class and as extracurricular activity. We use the method of stimulation of instrumental activities, and a combination of visual, verbal and practical techniques to perfect playing block flute. It is also important to include independent activity of children with prior explanations of the teacher. All these methods and techniques gave positive results. The methods of teaching to lay block flute are effective and successful in promoting the development of musical talent of junior pupils.
