Abstract: The paper discusses higher school teacher’s competence in implementation of innovative technologies in teaching Bachelor and Master Degree students. Education quality much depends on the skills of a teacher who has innovative type of thinking and behavior. According to the authors, teacher of a “new type” is a specialist who realizes the need for innovations and can acquire new knowledge and implement these innovations in the educational process. Besides such teachers are psychologically motivated to high-quality teaching, they can assess educational methods and methods of education quality analysis, the goals, the content and conditions of education, which corresponds to a successful and professional person.
