The category "teacher's didactic culture" is analyzed, the authors’ understanding of this important pedagogical category is given. The main attention is paid to the search for original ways to compensate for negative trends, due to the peculiarities and problems of modern education in the process of teaching mathematics. Increasing the level of the didactic culture of the teacher of mathematics can lead to solving the problems of mathematical education, due to the peculiarities of the modern educational environment. But this process is difficult and time-consuming. 2. The high level of the didactic culture of the teacher of mathematics makes it possible to
diversify the educational process and provide the student with an important opportunity in modern conditions to choose an individual trajectory of learning. 4. This work can be useful for teachers of natural science disciplines. The existing studies are mainly devoted to humanitarian disciplines or to general-didactic questions of the analysis of the very concept of didactic culture, but not accentuating the possibility of the influence of the level of didactic culture of the teacher on the effectiveness of a particular educational process, original ideas and techniques are suggested that allow us to develop a practical strategy for the teacher of mathematics in the organization of educational and cognitive activities of students.
