System-Activity Approach as a Technological Basis of Modern Lesson of Music

Abstract: The article reveals the problem of the implementation of the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for the content of the disciplines of the subject area "Art". The purpose of the article is to reveal the technological foundations of a modern music lesson from the position of the system-activity approach. The methods of research are the analysis of methodological materials in this area and the analysis of existing approaches to the organization of music lessons. The results of the evaluation of the contest assignments among music teachers "Training session" in the final stage of the competition for the award of the Governor of Sverdlovsk Region to teachers in 2017 (nomination "Pedagogical worker of the general education organization", subject area "Art") are described. There are many positive aspects of the contest, for example, professionalism of the teachers, perfect knowledge of the learning materials, demonstration of the necessary skills, love for the subject and students, the ability to contact easily with the students and to create the atmosphere of support and comfort. But at the same time there were several problems: there were no creative tasks and experiments at the lessons, the students were not given a chance to experiment with the sounds of musical instruments, the world and their own voice. Based on the analysis of the results, existing tendencies in the organization of a modern lesson (class) of music are determined. The results of the work are the following: the authors reveal the content of the principles of the system-activity approach in relation to the musical activity: the maximum orientation towards creativity of the students, the independent "discovery" of new knowledge, variability, a holistic view of the world, group interaction, etc. The significance for the modern teacher of the methods of creative music performance, the organization of activities based on several areas of art, which allows children to develop their independence, initiative in decision making, creativity and associativity of thinking.
