Abstract: The article investigates the problem of bullying as a kind of destructive interaction in the school teenage environment. Bullying is an acute social phenomenon that has a negative impact on all individuals involved in this process, on the formation of their Self-concept and self-esteem, value system and style of interaction with peers. According to current research, almost half of adolescents face bullying in a General education institution. The authors investigate the theoretical aspects of the phenomenon of bullying, its transformation, dynamics and features, social and psychological origins of violent, aggressive relationships in interpersonal, intragroup interactions. The diagnosis of the risk of bullying in General education institutions was carried out and the methods of its prevention in the school team were proposed. The study allowed to systematize the main approaches to the phenomenon of bullying in ad-olescents and showed that in these institutions there is no acute risk of bullying, but there are no resources to prevent it. The findings confirm the position that the classroom is the leading mechanism in the prevention of bullying. The potential of classroom group determines the presence and the absence of bullying in the group, as well as the possibility of its prevention at early stages.
