Abstract: The authors consider the main theoretical aspects of the problem of creative identity and self-relationship of creative individuals in early adolescence. The problem of creativity as a significant component of the 21st century adolescent’s self-concept is not well understood. The problem of self-concept of a creative person over the past decades has been solve by studying the correlations between the components of self-esteem and the level of claims and objective indicators of creativity. According to the authors, indicators of creativity will be associated with various aspects of the Self, provide that creative behavior becomes the leading criterion for the formation of self-relationship. Thus, the authors decided to identify differences in the indicators of psychological self-relationship, depending on the severity of high school students and students of creative identity. The problem of creative identity in Russian psychology is not well understanding as is the problem of the self-concept of creative people. In accordance with the research data of a number of foreign scientists, there is currently insufficient data to prove differences in the self-relationship between creatives and non-creatives. The study involved 268 senior students of the city of Muravlenko, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and students of the Ural State Pedagogical University of Yekaterinburg aged 16 to 18 years. The age of the respondents ranged from 15 to 18 years. The following methods were conduct in the study: a creative identity questionnaire and a S. R. Pantileev’s method for studying self-relationship. Based on an empirical study, it was reveal that between creative and non-creative respondents significant differences were reveal for all components of self-attitude, except for self-leadership and internal conflict. Because of the study, it turned out that creative individuals in adolescence are characterize by increased self-worth. They are more likely than their peers to consider themselves significant people for society are and loved ones.
