Abstract: The article reviews the significance of studies of children’s and teenage bullying problems, resulting in increasing psychosomatic diseases among the population. The prevalence of these diseases is predominant among the total number of non-contagious conditions of children and adolescents. The studies provide an uncertain pattern of changes depending on a multitude of factors, including psycho-social development, psychological attitudes, social norms and values, and the ethnic and national characteristics of various groups. The problem of bullying and the associated risks of destructive behavior among adolescents is relevant to pedagogical psychology and requires close attention to creating effective preventive interventions to prevent it. Mental health problems become increasingly common risk factors for chronic diseases. In contrast, stress factors at school are associated with students’ recurrent and persistent infections and harm academic performance. It is essential to identify the elements that affect the frequency or intensity of mental health disorders. The impact of abuse on the self-awareness of minors, the development of the child’s attitudes and mindsets, and the tendency to display emotional deafness in situations of other people’s grief and violence are in a few words the general conclusions of numerous studies conducted on this problem. These features are considered in the context of clinical-psychological, pedagogical, and socio-psychological diagnostic features. At present, there are different classifications of types of bullying in the foreign and national literature, based on the implementation of evidence-based research and rehabilitation programs. We reviewed the problem of bullying through the prism of evidence-based goals. Researchers around the world are looking for an explanation of bullying phenomenon; they study the relationships and regularities (bullies, bystanders, victims); they identify factors and determinants of destructive behavior, which will allow the practitioners to develop effective models and technologies of prevention, correction, and rehabilitation.
Key words: Bullying; deviant behavior; psychosomatic diseases; autoaggression; childish cruelty; child bullying; types of bullying.
