Abstract: Predicting the level of formation of competencies of students of a building and architectural university is an important problem at the current stage of development of society, which is associated with the widespread digitalization of all sectors of the economy and economy, as well as with the “information explosion” – a constant increase in the amount of knowledge and technology, which entails growth requirements for graduates. It is shown that the problem can be solved using a synergistic approach and methods of computer (computational) pedagogy. The model is designed as a “building under construction”, so it is worth reading from the bottom up; consists of seven blocks: “Forecast”, which describes the main stages of pedagogical forecasting technology; “Means of computational pedagogy used for forecasting”; “Future Civil Engineer”, which lists the stages of student learning at a construction university; “Synergetics”, in which the student is considered as a self-organizing system; “Education”, which describes in detail the stages of student learning; “Educational results”, which describes the formation of individual competencies; “External conditions”, which lists the main indicators of the forecast background. The forecasting technology, which became the basis of the constructed model, is presented. Consisting of three stages: retrospection, diagnosis and prospectus. The stages are divided into stages, at each of which the student team and the forecasting system of the university are considered as a self-organizing system, which made it possible to increase the efficiency of forecasting. The forecasting results are entered on the petal diagram together with the real educational results of students, which shows the effectiveness of the developed technology. The audit was conducted on the basis of 102 students studying in 5 academic groups of the SEI HPE “Donbass National Academy of Construction and Architecture”, in the direction of preparation 08.03.01 “Construction” (bachelor’s degree).
