Abstract: The article describes the theoretical and methodological bases and the experience of planning of the basic educational program for teacher training in Akmullah Bashkir State Pedagogical University with regard to the binary relations of the equivalence of the formed professional competences of the students, listed in the educational standard, with the activities and functions of a teacher, determined by the standard of professional activity. The article describes the stages of work of the responsible group on the design of the basic educational programs for training teachers. The first stages are the analysis and generalization of the results of the monitoring of the readiness of the teachers to the functions listed in the professional standard. The following stages include determining the nucleus of the content of professional pedagogical education and substantiating the principles of selection with regard to the discipline and modular structure of the university curricula and the basic educational programs in the context of dual education.
