Abstract: The article deals with the main approaches to the formation of the concept of pedagogical cooperation between employer and higher educational institution. The author singles out the main contradictions between an employer and a pedagogical higher educational institution, formulates the aim and priority tasks in this sphere; she presents conceptual approaches to creating a model of cooperation of a pedagogical higher educational institution and an employer for guaranteeing support of graduates in employment and adaptation to the market, taking into account the peculiarities of the pedagogical higher school and modern requirements of employers. Creation of a conceptual model of such cooperation is necessary now in order to solve the problem of raising the quality of training students and their effective employment. As a result, the graduate student will be prepared to professional activity in the conditions of the modern labor market, to self-realization and self-actualization. This preparation is conditioned by external and internal factors. The external factors include the requirements of the employer to professional competences (professional standards) and also social and economic requirements of the labor market. The internal factors embrace the Federal State Educational Standards requirements, requirements to pedagogical workers, peculiarities of the used technologies of education and upbringing, motivation and professional specification of the education process, etc. The given article defines the necessary stages of designing of the system of cooperation between the employer and the higher educational institution in employment of graduate students of pedagogical universities and presents a conceptual model of cooperation of the pedagogical higher educational institution and the employer for guaranteeing support of graduates in employment and adaptation to the labor market. Systematic cooperation of the pedagogical higher educational institution and the employer can ensure high competitiveness of graduates and their personal success and ability to adapt to the labor market through professional employment, based on their competence and awareness of their choice in combination with meeting the employer’s demands.
