Abstract: Service consumers (children and their parents), administration of the state or municipal bodies, staff of rest and health improvement organizations can get the necessary information, only if the organization follows the process of health improvement, rest, socialization and development of children. The question about the need for monitoring of rest and health improvement organization activity was raised in 2014. Today it is recommended to monitor legislative, medical, organizational and inventory potential of a rest and health improvement organization in a special catalogue. This is information about conditions, resources and favorable conditions, including: staff number, housing conditions, working hours, facilities for physical education, cultural and medical centers and utilities. The catalogue doesn’t have any information about educational, psychological and legal potential, it doesn’t describe the territory and social activity although they stimulate socialization and self-realization of a child. The paper suggests that the catalogue should be expanded and it should include information about pedagogical potential and the advantages of the territory.
