Аннотация: В статье рассматривается проблема повышения эффективности обучения иностранному языку студентов неязыковых вузов в условиях цифровизации образовательного процесса и необходимости формирования профессионально ориентированной иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции. Цель исследования заключается в разработке и обосновании педагогических условий использования видеотехнологий в обучении иностранному языку студентов неязыковых направлений подготовки. Методологическую основу исследования составили системно-деятельностный и коммуникативный подходы; в работе применялись методы анализа научной литературы, педагогического наблюдения, анкетирования и методы количественной и качественной обработки полученных данных. В ходе исследования выявлены особенности использования видеотехнологий в учебном процессе и их влияние на учебную мотивацию, вовлеченность обучающихся и развитие иноязычных коммуникативных умений. Научная новизна исследования заключается в уточнении дидактических возможностей видеотехнологий в контексте профессионально ориентированного обучения иностранному языку в неязыковом вузе. Практическая значимость результатов состоит в возможности использования предложенных методических рекомендаций в практике преподавания иностранного языка, а теоретическая значимость – в расширении научных представлений о роли видеотехнологий в системе обучения иностранным языкам. Сделаны выводы о целесообразности системного и методически выверенного включения видеотехнологий в образовательный процесс как эффективного средства повышения качества и результативности обучения иностранному языку.

Abstract: The article addresses the problem of increasing the effectiveness of foreign language teaching at non-linguistic universities in the context of higher education digitalization and the need to develop professionally oriented foreign language communicative competence. The aim of the study is to identify and substantiate pedagogical conditions for the effective use of video technologies in foreign language teaching at non-linguistic universities. The methodological framework of the research is based on the system-activity and communicative approaches. The study employed methods of pedagogical observation, questionnaires, diagnostic testing and qualitative and quantitative analysis of learning outcomes. The research involved first-year students of a non-linguistic university majoring in Information Security. The results of the study reveal the characteristics of students’ motivational sphere and demonstrate the motivational potential of various types of video content used in the foreign language classroom. The scientific novelty of the research lies in clarifying the didactic possibilities of video technologies in the context of professionally oriented foreign language teaching at non-linguistic universities. The practical significance of the study consists in the possibility of applying the proposed methodological recommendations in foreign language teaching practice, while the theoretical significance is associated with expanding scholarly understanding of the role of video technologies in foreign language education. The study concludes that the methodologically organized and differentiated use of video technologies contributes to increased learning motivation, cognitive engagement and the development of foreign language communicative competence.
